GEAT sponsors 24 Warnindilyakwa students to participate in Aminjarrinja’s Education Program which operates in North Queensland. Students reside in homes with house parents, attend mainstream schools and are actively involved in sports and other extracurricular activities. House parents also teach basic life skills such as cooking and house chores. The program has added advantages in that it addresses the many health issues that children have when first entering the program.
GEAT proudly funds Polly Farmer Foundation Programs on Groote, which includes in-school tuition and after-school learning clubs.
GEAT acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future Traditional Custodians and Elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
